Pinion Shafts are the main drive members of most gear train assemblies. The shaft transfers the input of a drive shaft or crank to the rest of the gears to produce the work for which the gear train is designed. It is either coupled directly or via a clutch to the output shaft of a slow-speed synchronous motor, or to the output shaft of a motor-driven helical or double helical gear reducer. The main drive member of a gear train assembly is this shaft. The supplied Pinion Shafts are very efficient and made for durable uses. It is very easy to install.
